JOHN DIRE aka “The Air Strike”

John is a former Marine, who was always the leader of the group, even when he was a child. His family held strong values, conviction, and leadership skills in high regard, and most had glorious histories as war heroes. During the Vietnam war John came to love the country and its citizens around his company's base. That’s why he decided to stay behind in Vietnam after the war was over and help cleanup after the devastation.

John’s love of bowling stems from the games his troops used to hold to pass the time when they weren’t fighting. John directed his men to gather used equipment and supplies from the garbage dumps to build alleys. With bowling balls sent from home, John would practice his skills until they were finely honed.

KENDRA KLEIN aka “The Striking Beauty” 

Kendra is the kind of beautiful girl you could hate, if she wasn’t so darn nice. Her parents are old school and old money.   They own several companies in various states, but have chosen to base theIR family in a nice “cottage” near Los Angeles, California. Kendra’s bubbly personality and kind nature hide the quick intellect that allowed her to get her law degree from Harvard University, while pursuing her modeling and martial arts interests.

During college Kendra used to bowl with her sorority sisters at the campus alley. What she discovered was that the skills she had developed modeling and practicing martial arts applied to bowling too. Kendra developed the idea of "lawn bowling" in order to entertain her friends and family during their many social functions. 

SHANIQUA STEVENS aka “The Cobra Strike” 

As a child Shaniqua’s mother noticed her daughter’s musical talents early on. After discovering Shaniqua was a musical prodigy her wealthy parents enrolled in the best schools in New York. Shaniqua faithfully practiced her scales looking out of the family penthouse's windows overlooking Central Park. When she wasn’t practicing her music, Shaniqua liked to spend time practicing her bowling with the disadvantaged children’s musical group that she formed and leads. Shaniqua’s life goal is to become a philanthropist and believes that both her musical and bowling skills may help fund her foundation.

Shaniqua keeps her background secret in order to fit into the New York street music scene. She has adopted the entire cocky and hip attitude necessary to be convincing as an up and coming artist. She has also found that that attitude works well against her opponents on the lanes.

MAX FORTNER aka “The Lucky Strike”. 

Max is probably the most naturally talented bowler on Earth, however, he won’t apply himself to the game. He much prefers the life of the beach bum; laid back and skimming through life. The problem is, he’s not much of a surfer.  

Born in Ohio, Max’s love of surfing found little satisfaction on the beaches of Lake Erie. Since he’s moved to Australia he has adopted the whole surfer lifestyle and practices his less-than-convincing Australian accent. Max haunts the local hangouts looking for anyone who will listen to his exaggerated tales of riding the big waves.
