Amork (Rime Aufeis)

The Amorks are nine feet tall, covered in white fur and look like a cross between a gorilla and a psychotic rock star. The fur comes in handy, as the Amorks live on Nemesas-Absolat the coldest planet in the galaxy. They also have glowing red eyes that can pick out the smallest flying fish miles away across the icy terrain of their home planet.

Their culture and religious beliefs are based on radio transmissions they are now receiving from Earth. They are stuck listening to the tunes of the 1980’s, which they do with great gusto at their frequent iceberg dances. The Amorks also happened to hear radio transmissions of Earth League bowling championships. This led Rime Aufeis, an Amork of legend on the iceberg air band circuit, to adapt the game of bowling to the local icy terrain. He now spends his time beating his challengers with his powerful, accurate bowls or by swatting them over the head with his ever present electric guitar.

Gyptee (The Anubis Princess, Anupu Pharona)

The Gyptees of Atoth are an ancient alien race ruled by the Anubis Princess. It is no surprise that they resemble the ancient Egyptians since they are the alien race responsible for seeding Earth with human life. Over the years the Gyptee have nurtured and mentored the fragile Earth colonies bringing them slowly to a level where they could sustain themselves. They have passed along not only their genes but a deep appreciation for nature and astronomy.

Anupu Pharona is the daughter of Lucindal Evveril, also known as the Dark Queen. Although she was born on Eosp-B, she considers Atoth her home and has readily adopted its culture. When she feels she is being backed into a corner, she can act as evil as her mother, but she longs for a more serene life without the political game play necessary to being a royal. It is difficult for her to meet the demands of her mother while tending to the often conflicting needs of her home world. That is why she, like so many of the Atoth population, have turned to quick games of bowling on the desert sands in order to beat the stresses of daily living in this unforgiving land.

Sectaraien (Plani Pennia)

Grustwid is where you will find the Sectaraien, the flying insect-like creatures common to this planet. The Sectaraien are highly intelligent creatures who live in tight knit hive -like communities and can tap the violent lightning of the planet to use for their needs. The electricity they don’t use, they then sell to neighboring planets, so they live a fairly carefree life.

Plani Pennia is one such Sectaraien. Her fashionable goggles protect her from the high winds and bright lightning of the planet. Like the rest of her hive, Plani has found herself taking up the game of bowling during her many hours of leisure time. She happily joins the sub-hive in bowling tournaments with rules that are made up on the fly, so to speak.

Meganausaur (Alfred Deinos)

When you think of an English butler, you hardly picture a dinosaur. And yet, the Meganausaurs of Perditas Minor all seem to look and sound just like that. Always impeccably dressed and soft-spoken these huge aliens can act the part very well. However, don’t be fooled into thinking that they aren’t as dangerous as they look. A Meganausaur has little control over his fierce temper and can just as easily have you for dinner, as serve you dinner. Some historians believe that Maganausaurs predate Earth’s dinosaurs some believe just the opposite. When your family line goes back that many years, it’s hard to keep the records straight.

Alfred Deinos is the typical Meganausaur. With his three piece suit crafted from the finest synthetic cloth available and tailored to fit him personally, Alfred is the pride of the local neighborhood pack. Out of boredom caused by being locked indoors during most of Perditas Minor's long Winter season, Alfred joined his mates at the bowling alley intending to show off his new suit and magnificent tail scales. Once there he was intrigued by the betting surrounding the game and without much thought found that a good bowling game was almost as much fun as a new pair of shoes.

Hoolawgokas (Llubb)

Molderoan is a young planet, wild and untamed, much like the native species the Hoolawgokas. The Hoolawgokas love to dance, maybe because they are constantly dodging the lava spraying up from the numerous volcanic hot spots breaking through the planets crust. All this dancing around leaves little time to develop highly civilized social structures, so loose tribal bonds have been formed between related families. The tribes band together to gather lichens and mosses as well as hunt small animals and insects. They then gather near a laval pool to cook and eat their catch, all the while dancing to keep their feet cool. Back in their tribal cave the Hoolawgoka women attach the colorful insect shells from the remains of supper to the stone tribal masks the whole tribe wears. Legend has it that the eyes of a Hoolawgoka seen in the light of day can stun a full grown Gelander or Et-Rex.

Llubb is a typical Hoolawgoka who loves to dance and hunt. He loves to throw rocks at other rocks and see them all fall down. It was natural then when the Lapskin-worms first visited his planet that he should show off his rock throwing skills. He was very surprised to learn that the Lapskin-worms also threw rocks and knocked over other rocks. This was curious to Llubb since the rocks were white and red and shaped different than any he had seen before. But no matter, Llubb could practice his hunting skills just as well with them. The name of this game was funny to Llubb and he liked to say it – bowl.

Lapskin-Worm (Cest Annelid)

The Lapskin-Worms moved to Orbia-Major sometime after it was built, but that was so long ago the history has been lost. The living is easy on Orbia-Major for the Lapskin. The Lapskin seem to draw their nourishment from wormholes. At only four feet tall, these quick witted spineless beings have transformed themselves into the galaxy’s finest gamblers. Their cooperative sets and holds all the Galactic League Bowling bets along with numerous other betting games and schemes they have devised.

Cest Annelid is one Lapskin who gets more of a thrill bowling a perfect game than he does betting or collecting on bets. That is why Cest runs the Nexus Hub Alley. While his cut of the bowling bets rolls in he can relax, serve the occasional glass of water to a customer and indulge his money making hobby.

Sigrimus (Etmopterus)

Just like the sharks of Earth, the Sigrimus species is a streamlined but powerful race. Unlike the sharks of Earth, the Sigrimus stands on 2 feet. These alien sharks are just as ferocious as their brothers on Earth too, with an appetite to match. They spend most of their day eating, and when they aren’t eating they are looking for food.

One of the typical inhabitants of Beluxa, Etmopterus has many tattoos which indicate his skill at catching and eating his fair share of the plentiful fish supply. His scars attest to his skill in beating his hunting pack to a particularly tasty aquatic appetizer, and snatching it from the jaws of the nearest foe. When Etmopterus isn’t hunting or eating, you can find him bowling. This may seem strange until you realize that the local custom is to reward the winner with his weight in fish.
